The 5 Abilities I Used To Generate $10,000 Online (Without an audience)
Mastery over these abilities will guarantee your long term success
From the moment we open eyes for the first time, our entire reality is shaped by our ability
We need to train to walk, train to speak, train to function like adults, and if we were born in the wild we would not even have survived a few hours
This start is how we are conditioned to overcome adversity
As we age we get used to the fact that we will eventually need to fend for ourselves, no matter what happens later in life
But luckily human beings are social creatures, so we learn to adapt and make use of the tools at our disposal
In the modern age those tools are your phone, the internet, and vehicles
But this experience causes overdependence..
People often don’t know how to fend for themselves without these tools
They neglect the abilities they were conditioned to learn at birth, for a much easier lifestyle using the tools society has given them
But the reality is, if you were stranded on an island without any internet connection, a vehicle, or a phone, you’d be doomed
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again..
Most of Humanity is evolving backward
They neglect the most important skills they require for survival, and instead assume these tools will always be at their disposal
This is called adapting to circumstance
The result? People learn the abilities and skills they require to use the tools, instead of learning the abilities and skills they require to survive
This is naive
And with the digital age, its so much easier to get distracted by social media
In an interview with Elon Musk about surgery on the brain stem for his part ownership company at the time called “neuralink”, the interviewer asked him if he thinks its a bad idea to tamper with the human mind using man made constructs
Elon countered his point saying, human beings have become so attached to their phones, that their phone is the equivalent of an extension to their brain
His argument with this thought process was that human beings were much more like robots than they realized, since they’ve become so dependent on technology
What Elon talks about here is the same point I made
And since human beings are so occupied with learning how to use the tools, instead of learning skills, they’re blinded to the ideal solutions
Parents think for their child to learn, they need to go to school
Parents thinks when their child leaves school, to increase their intelligence further they need to go to university
The school and the university are just tools
They make it much easier to teach a child important information, because the parent doesn’t have to spend as much time teaching the child themselves
Parents teach their children how to be a student, instead of teaching their child how to function in society
The result is often a child that gets bullied, taught information they never use in their life (75% of school subjects you never use again), and in the case with American Society, the child is indoctrinated with non traditional and non scientific information that results in drastic negative behavioral changes in the child (that can have life changing consequences)
Just like school and university is a tool that, at times, can do more harm than good, so too is education in general
Abilities are gained through school, rather then being taught by parents
Often men have no idea how to manage romantic relationships, because their father doesn’t help them with dating
By outsourcing education to school & university, the child lacks the fundamental abilities later in their life
Financial literacy, relationship management, investing, real estate, taxes
These are just some of the examples of things that school does not teach
And unfortunately not all children have an innate ability to understand these things
Then later in life, they struggle with things that are fundamental to their personal development, because they were studying the square root of pie.. Instead of learning how to pick a life partner
You know, the thing that will effect your financially and psychologically for the rest of your life
Pick the wrong life partner and your life might even be over (depending on your choices)
When I was young, I was blessed with an innate ability called wit
It allowed me to sense social ques as they appeared
Like knowing exactly what to say to a girl if you want her to find you more interesting
Similar to knowing what to say at a specific moment to get people to laugh out loud at a party
These are abilities that can drastically increase your quality of life, yet they are never even taught in school
Tools are not a shortcut, they are just that, tools
And the reason why I’m honing in on education specifically, is because studying the right things, can teach you these skills, without having to worry about spending a small fortune on schools or university
The greatest ideas of the 21st century are captured in books
How to enter the flow state at will
How to slow down your heart rate so your metabolism grinds to a halt
How to increase your lifespan through thousand year old techniques
How to outsmart your enemies to ensure you are the victor
No I didn’t just make that up, these are example of the lessons you can find in books that were published years to decades ago
Now tell me, are they teaching these things in school or university?
No of course not! Because why would they teach actual valuable life changing information to people who really need it for the rest of their life’s?
Tools are flawed, because they deteriorate the mind
You don’t know how to plant, grow, and harvest apples
You don’t know how to fix your computer if it dies
Heck! Nowadays people can’t even drive a car themselves
And what about take out food? A tool that makes you neglect your health in exchange for instant gratification
Do you understand that depending on tools might not be the smartest thing?
I grew up lucky, because I had the innate ability to build relationships by embracing my emotions (most men don’t even show or express them), and sing beautifully without practice
What I’m showing you is a reality where you carefully curate what you teach yourself or your child, to ensure a much higher quality of life than just depending on tools to fix your problems
Now that you understand how important certain abilities are (most of these are not taught in school), you understand that dedicating time to learning them at your own pace is imperative for your personal development
Now I can tell you about the abilities I used to drive over $10,000 in revenue online
Every ability I used to go from $0 to $10,000
No, I don’t just go straight to a step by step breakdown
To adopt a new solution as your own, you need to first understand the reasoning behind it
If you stop reading right now, the chance that you see things from my perspective is much higher than if I just told you “Here’s the 5 abilities lol”
Remember: sell your ideas, products, and services, using your philosophy
People listen to what you teach, if you have a compelling purpose
Luckily there is a method to solve this educational problem
I don’t like secondary and tertiary educational institutes because they take money from the less informed, when what they teach is already available on the internet
So right now, not only will I show you where to find the things you need to learn to gain the abilities you will need to build a thriving business..
I will also show you my implementation of the information I have taught myself
How people perceive you determines how much they trust you
Just like the homeless man on the street corner doesn’t attract people because he’s perceived as untrustworthy due to his apparent circumstances..
So too are you perceived in a certain way due to your ability to broadcast a message to the people around you (sometimes without saying anything)
Articulation is the art of getting the message across, while being perceived as an authority while doing so
If you are good at articulating yourself, then people pay attention when you say things
If people pay attention when you say things, it also means they pay attention when you teach things
To establish authority you need to show what you are capable, but articulation is producing the right messaging when you attempt to establish authority
I’ve seen plenty of people who struggle with the English language becomes successful.. But being able to articulate yourself in an advanced manner can change the entire atmosphere in a conversation
My theory is that society has been indoctrinated to associate articulation with intelligence
Just like how if someone has a degree people automatically think that person is smart (they have a degree in engineering so they must be smart)
Intelligence is not doing something everyone else is doing, intelligence is doing the opposite (and understanding why)
I’ve seen politicians who were unintelligent, I’ve seen doctors who were unintelligent, and I’ve seen teachers who were unintelligent
Your profession and degree mean nothing. What matters is your perception of reality → Articulation teaches you how to change perception at will
So how do you become more articulate?
Learn to listen
The ability to pay close attention to people’s emotions, and quietly taking note of everything they are saying, is an art
By taking note of what they’re saying, you can address their deeper rooted problems, while also making them feel heard
Take notes as they talk, take mental notes as they talk, and save your previous conversations that were the most important
And most of all, they need to feel like you were paying close attention, because why else would you be able to perfectly recall everything they said?
Learn to speak
The way you are perceived is largely dependent on your rhetoric (your use of language)
Call it indoctrination if you like, but the point is, if you speak with high intellect, you are perceived as someone with high intellect
Spend a lot of time studying persuasion, manipulation, behavioral psychology, and communication skills
There’s endless amounts of books on the subject, so dedicate time to studying and reading these book on a daily basis
Your greatest ideas are not only created, but collected as well
The more you read, the more your vocabulary expands
More ways to describe things results in people viewing you as an authority
In copywriting there’s a rule called “write like a 5th grader”
This principle is based on the fact that most people don’t have a very high level of English vocabulary, so using simplistic language results in more sales
This has been scientifically proven through data analytics, but the way you are perceived is still a factor when it comes to influence
The goal is finding the balance between having a large vocabulary, and using simplistic language with the right people
Alternatively, you can personal brand like Dan Koe’s where you use language you would normally use, and thereby attract people who have the same level of vocabulary you do (and those who don’t are most likely impressed)
But it doesn’t help you learn all these terms for things, and you never use them
Your intellect will naturally increase as you study these things, and as a result your way of explaining things will also change
Just as professors at universities are seen as authority, you too will be seen as an authority
But there’s a fine line between fancy language and sounding like a narcissist
Its the reason why I’ve never been a fan of some people who write a thesis.
They use all kinds of complicated words to describe something as simple as a flower, just because they want to sound smart
But the truth is, if you don’t need fancy language to explain it, then don’t use fancy language to explain it
What sounds more human?
I was uncertain of myself that evening, as I had just had a look in the mirror that morning, and I felt so self conscious
Or
I’ve was stricken with anxiety over the flood of emotions I perceived to be real that evening, as I looked into the glass reflection of my inner self, and when it peered back at me I was at a loss for words, since that morn I had felt so self conscious as a result
One explains using sometimes complex vocabulary, and the other just seems like someone was high on drugs when they wrote it
And that second example is often what entire theses are written like (makes me annoyed just thinking about it)
You’re not persuasive, you sound narcissistic
Normally psycho-analysis is a therapy method for people running from their psychological trauma, but in this context its much more like mentalism
Mentalism on the other hand is seen as a magician’s trick, but its actually based on scientific study
When I was in my teenage years I’d often know when people are lying, when they are hiding things, when they are upset, when they are secretly angry etc.
You can notice these things by studying the behaviors and behavior patterns of other human beings
The often used this ability to tell when someone is lying, and its no different online (just much more difficult)
Psycho-analysis didn’t necessarily come in handy in direct messages, but more when I analyzed certain situations, and what the inevitable outcome would be if things did not change
Practice this enough and learn how to sense hostility, when people are hiding something, and a lot more
Let’s use human behavior as an example on how to use this skill
If you study human behavior enough you start noticing patterns
These patterns, when disrupted, are an indication of a mental disturbance of some kind
If a man driving a truck past the same grocery store every week at 10:00-10:10, buys a cheese burger pie for 5 years straight..
And then one day he shows up at 10:40 and orders something else..
What this indicated is a pattern disturbance
Often the reason people change their behavior what seems like suddenly, is because something happened in their personal life that was unforeseen
Like a girl who’s in love with you would pretend to be afraid of the dark when she’s with you, but when she’s alone in the dark she’s not scared at all
Or if your girlfriend/boyfriend says good morning every morning, and then suddenly out of nowhere you don’t get a good morning text
When a human being suddenly changes their behavior, something is wrong
How does this help you? So that when a client does not pay on time, or someone you’re coaching is not as consistent as they usually are, or if your conversation with a potential client doesn’t go so well..
You can determine something must have went wrong, instead of misunderstanding the situation
This is especially true if you charged a client like $5000 for a service, and they don’t pay up on time, after you’ve already started working on their project
These are all events you can prepare for, or potentially avoid
I am aware that this thing has been done to death, but its important that I address this one.. Why? Because most people suck at networking
They think networking is having a chat with someone now and then and asking them to share your post..
But its so much more than that
Network with the right people, and you build leverage
Sure, it would be nice to have 50,000 subscribers, but the next best thing is being friends with someone who has 50,000 subscribers
Networking is studying the potential or impact a person has, befriending them not for personal gain but because you genuinely love what they are writing or producing online, then adding them to a delicately curated group of people who will still be here in 5 years from now
Its understanding that through reciprocity, excellence can be achieved
In 2021 I sold a $50 website to a guy from the US, 3 years later we’re fast friends
In 2023 I sold a $1200 website to a guy from Europe, a year later we’re fast friends
Combined these people have generated over $100,000, and they have an audience of over 300,000
One repost and I get thousands of views on a post, instead of 10, purely because I built a genuine connection
But you don’t need to stop there. You need to study networking extensively
Research the best books on persuasion and networking
Give lectures on networking
Network in real life
Go to speaking events
Do everything in your power to increase the size of your network, the quality of your network, and your ability to network
The end result will be thousands upon thousands of impressions, dollars.. And hundreds of opportunities to get even more of those 2 things
My first business was a blog (it failed)
I tried to hop on trends about influencer drama
Looking back at it now, I would probably be successful if I had to do it again
But I have no intention to (I don’t like drama)
And building this blog, I got my introduction to webdesign
Afterward I understood how to setup domains, build entry level websites, and I got pretty used to navigating the interface of softwares
Since I had been gaming my whole life, a lot of it came easily
Only two platforms I still struggle with is bubble io and figma
The point of my blogging failure, is that I learned how to solve problems
Writing articles about drama → Solving an entertainment problem
Building websites → Solving a business & design problem
Problem solving is one of, if not THE most important skill you can learn as a business owner online
How much you are worth, is directly connected to the problem you can solve
If I ghostwrite X posts for CEOs, and I have CEOs willing to pay me money to grow their followings for them, I am incredibly valuable..
The reason being, I’m solving rich people’s problems
But If I’m making burgers across from a much more successful burger joint, then I am not remotely as valuable
The reason being, I’m solving every day people’s problems, and I’m competing with a much better problem solver close by
The level of problem you can solve, and the person you’re solving it for, plays a large role in the amount of money you make
Solve bigger problems for the right people, and you will make more than your peers
So how do you learn the ability to solve problems?
To quote Dan Koe, “Become A Generalist”
This means dedicating time to studying, experimenting, and developing multiple skills like marketing, design, sales, course creation, and teaching
The reason being, to become a good problem solver, you need to be a jack of all trades
Forget outsourcing everything in your business to other people (unless you’re building an agency past $30,000/mo)
If you’re serious about becoming a problem solver, and being able to solve those problems for other people, you need to learn how to solve your own problems first
When I jump on a call with someone, and they have a problem, 99% of the time I know how to solve it → I can charge for that information
But most people don’t have my skillset
This makes me a commodity
If I have a client with a problem, I can solve it for them
Not only does this make me more valuable, it ensures my clients dont go somewhere else to solve their problem
If I’m helping someone build an online course, I don’t have to worry about outsourcing the building of the landing page (I can do that myself)
This drives more revenue to me, because I can turn services like that into upsells if I want to
To solve all kinds of problems, you need to teach yourself new skills at every opportunity you get
This is a skill I learned from the start. At the time I was a broke university student, so naturally I had to teach myself
And there’s nothing wrong with finding free alternatives to solve problems for yourself, because you can later sell that information to other people
You can build courses and develop templates to help other people solve those problems, and charge for them
If you need a website, learn how to build one yourself
If you need a course, learn how to build one yourself
If you need more views on your post, learn how to build a network
If you need to sell something, learn how to do it yourself
You are more valuable and efficient, when you don’t have to constantly outsource things to other people
Since I started in 2019 with social media, I’ve come to realize that all social media platforms function on the same psychology
People on the platform want to be entertained, educated, or inspired
And the platform usually has a bunch of sub communities with different needs
The business community wants to make money selling products or services
The YouTube and Streaming community want to entertain people and make a living from donations and subscriptions
The cosplay community just want to show all their amazing cosplays and receive funding for more amazing cosplay projects
In this example I’m mostly referring to X
But the way a social media platform works, remains the same
The issue, is that most people have no idea how to adapt to new platforms
People are still not sure how to grow on social media, much less exploit multiple platforms for growth
Learning to adapt to a platform requires you to experiment a lot, but also keep into the account the psychology behind content creation
Again, self study courses on content creation, platform trends, and analyze the current social media climate
Instagram still rewards short videos, TikTok does, and X has jumped on the same train due to Elon’s desire to make it the “all in one” platform
How do I know all of this stuff? Because I’ve been studying courses, articles, sub group industry leaders, and listening to podcasts
I’ve been learning consistently
But only learning isn’t going to cut it
You need to use social media to make money, otherwise you’re just saying stuff and getting no returns on it
So as part of platform adaptation, you also need to study marketing and sales
And most of all, you need to experiment
You don’t learn how to sell services by sitting in a marketing lecture, you learn to sell by actually going out there and selling stuff
You’ll get rejected hundreds of times, but only by doing that will you start gathering the data required to make the sale the next time
You can’t teach experience in a lecture
In fact, if someone is giving a lecture on business, then they most likely are not qualified to teach business, since if they were successful business owner, they wouldn’t even be there
Business owners rarely sit in a college classroom
They are out there, building businesses
So go on the internet, teach yourself all these abilities, and start selling a product or service to a specific group of people
This is the only way you can turn your ability to adapt to platforms, into a revenue source (by selling on that platform)
And to be clear, you don’t HAVE to build an audience to make sales, its just much more effective long term → Owning traffic results in revenue
If I hadn’t been struggling with chronic depression for 18 months I would’ve produced the results in the title by month 3
I hope this article has really helped you
PS: I decided to use a different format this time, did you like the custom made headings? Reply with “yes” if you did
