How To Convince Millions Of People To Believe Something That's Complete BS: Copywriting & Persuasion Masterclass
DO NOT go start some kind of cult with this info
DISCLAIMER: This is educational, and designed to teach you how dangerous societal influence is, and how dangerous it can be for your children or family members
Remember - I am discussing beliefs and why people actually believe them in this article, so if you don’t agree on something, then that would be the point
Let's get started..
Have you ever wondered why Flat Earthers make up roughly 5% of the world population?
That's 40,000,000 people
And what about religion?
Why is the bible is the most sold book on Earth at roughly 5 BILLION copies?
How about OnlyFans? It's at 2.45 million adult creators
From a scientific point of view, none of these belief systems or ideological perspectives on life, are rooted in objective fact
We all know the Earth isn't flat
Christianity is based on the bible, the original copy being the dead sea scrolls (found in Israel in a cave in 1947) - Text written 2000 years ago by a random person, who's identity scholars are debating on to this day
OnlyFans adult creators (unless voice acting or animation based), require prostitution to be actively denied, and morals to be disregarded at the same time
It's not doubt to say these belief systems, whether you believe them to be rooted in fact or not, cannot be proven to be rational, or factual, whatsoever
The Earth isn't flat
We have no actual proof besides a modernized ancient piece of paper, that God exists
If you post your naked body online for strangers to indulge in, you are a prostitute, objectively speaking
In the absence of proof, we can only argue that objectively speaking, it's not true
These are facts, yet the listed belief systems are so powerful, they have collectively convinced billions of people otherwise
So the question is, how?
How do you take something you know isn't true, and convince millions (or even billions of people), that it IS true?
Let me explain..
There's 3 things you will need:
1 - Literature, Media, and/or Word of Mouth Testimony
Imagine your mind like a moldable piece of clay
Many would argue that it's only moldable during childhood, and that once that time has passed it's almost impossible to change your belief system..
But in reality that's not true whatsoever
My CIUN Persuasion Framework proves this
It's been used throughout history to make people believe things that cannot actually be proven, in the billions (some examples included the list I just gave you)
But to create messaging, you need it in writing, whether that writing is in the mind, on a piece of paper, or seen in the media (videos, images, posts, articles etc.)
Sure, if you come across an article that claims brushing your teeth is unnecessary, you won't believe it..
But what if your dentist confirms it, what if your parents affirms that belief, what if every book on dental health you read confirms it, what if every seminar produced by medicine to spread awareness of health confirms it..
What if every video, article, social media post, and person you meet confirms it, or affirms that belief?
Would you ever have reason to NOT believe it?
Of course not! Because you cannot prove it, but what you CAN prove, is the opposite (this is cognitive bias - The subconscious perception that something can be trusted if an overwhelming majority trusts it)
This is the result of a combination between 3 psychological phenomenon..
The Herd Effect - If a large group believes something, and you identify with the group, you adopt their belief
The Primacy Effect - The first person to introduce you to a concept is seen as the authority, and is unlikely to be questioned
Repetition - To instill any belief in someone, you need to repeat their exposure to it endlessly, until they never again question it
Now you might be arguing, "yes, but in the real world there's always someone who will disagree"
Normally yes, but unfortunately human beings are often guilty of confirmation bias
I mean if you believed watermelon could give you diabetes your whole life, would you believe an article that claims it's harmless?
No you won't, because that belief has become so integral to your belief system, that you'd fear adopting a contradicting identity
Think about it, wherever you go you're putting yourself inside a group you can associate with to a certain extent
The "cool kids" in school, this X community, church, a specific subreddit, the drama club.. Doesn't matter
And inside this collective you identify with, confirmation bias becomes very easy to enforce
If everyone in the drama club believes making feminine gestures is perfectly normal, while the rest of society thinks it portrays homosexuality, and you spend most of your time in the drama club, you're going to believe what the drama club has instilled in you..
And anyone who says you're gay because of your feminine gestures, you will avoid or dislike as a person (because you can't identify with them)
Remember: If you want someone to hate, despise, or never trust you, form an argument as to why their identity is rooted in lies
So what do we call this collective?
2 - An Echo-Chamber
This group of yours will affirm everything you believe
Like the church believes God is coming to save them
Like the drama club believes acting like you're gay is funny instead of "fruity"
Like the OnlyFans adult creators believe sleeping with random men and sleeping with their boyfriend in succession, is completely normal
And anyone who states, believes, or claims otherwise, is either removed, ostracized, or avoided, from/by the collective
So now that you understand the psychological mechanisms, how do you convince people of something that scientifically speaking, isn't true?
Step 1 - Create literature, media, unique sayings, and social media posts, that fully explains it, confirms it, and affirms it
Step 2 - Attach a list of desired benefits to the false belief
Step 3- Make sure the list of benefits perfectly aligns with the group of people you're brainwashing
Step 4 - Create an echo-chamber
A club, an online community, a get together, a friend group, doesn't matter, you just need control over the collective and the ideas inside it
Step 5 - Repetition and ritual
Create a routine around the echo-chamber
"Church Day", "Drama Club Day", "Content Day", "School Day", "9-5 Work Day"
Doesn't matter, as long as you can exploit repetition to such an extent, that the belief system slowly gets instilled into the minds of your target
Step 6 - Minimize Exposure to opposing views
What Cults normally do in this situation is prevent members from seeing their family
This is very similar to what's happening in real life, that very much simulates cult like practice
Think of the 16 year old kid that comes out as trans..
You'd think, "But if the child's echo-chamber is their school and house", how is that possible?
The answer is online media
Where does the kid spend their whole day?
What videos are the kid watching?
What things are the kid googling?
What is the kid asking Chatgpt?
Most of the time the kid spends 80% of their day online, so when their parents try to instill opposing views into them, it doesn't work, because they're already deeply connected to the trans identity they got indoctrinated into, by consuming online media, and depending on their online trans echo-chamber for support and learning
Then the parents kick the child out, but what they don't realize is that's the equivalent of a death sentence, because who does the kid go to for support in that situation?
The collective that caused the problem in the first place
Further perpetuating the entire problem
Step 7 - Recruit people through word of mouth, promotion, and referrals
To conclude..
Brainwashing people into doing and believing things that are absolute BS is easy, if you see Western Society for what it is..
An interconnected system of echo-chambers all pushing their own agenda within their collectives
And that's probably the largest reason the US and Europe are falling apart, they aren't functioning as a collective with ONE echo-chamber..
They have millions that contradict each other
Meanwhile in the East most of their societies have ONE Collective
Lower crime rate, higher level of education, strong moral compass, much more discipline, obesity is almost nonexistent, healthier food, superior healthcare system, less mental illness, and a much better + safer society
Ironically anyone who says "America is the greatest country in the world", is actually in the American Citizen echo-chamber - Convinced of total BS
If you want a country that's superior when it comes to development as a whole, Dubai is a much better bet
You know why?
Because they have a set of societal principles, beliefs, and regulations, that they strictly MAKE everyone adhere to
You have freedom of thought and speech, as long as you stick to them
Safer, no crime, more wealth, no obesity, better education, better healthcare, beautiful women, no mental illness, more millionaires, better airport customs, better technology, it's what America COULD be, if it actually had 1 echo-chamber, instead of trying to appeal to everyone and their mother
So next time you hear someone say something and you think, "This guy has got to be a complete ret#rd", remember..
Somewhere that person has an echo-chamber controlling their thinking through a collective
Whether that collective is implied, or established in a specific place..
It exists, there's no doubt
O and btw, this post will teach you more about persuasion, than a $2000 course on copywriting ever will
You can use this knowledge to write sales pages, build landing pages, write emails, write books, write posts, build courses, and basically write any copy at one of the highest levels imaginable..
Provided you really go think about this

This article was written to give you an idea of how effective my CIUN Persuasion Framework is, grab it below (text based masterclass in out):
It really is terrifying, isn’t it. We know these echo chambers are everywhere, we seek them out, they’re comfortable, leaving them is scary and confronting, but goodness, the information that we - and our children- are overloaded with every single day is only increasing, so it’s entirely understandable that people do what’s needed to “feel” safe, even if it’s the exact opposite…
Ian, your perspective on convincing others is both practical and inspiring. Thanks for sharing these valuable insights.
