Saturday Contemplation #3
Although it's late, I'd like to share some interesting things from this week with you
First of all, if you’ve been keeping an eye on these emails, I am a little bit late on this one..
I was occupied with work and other things today, so I apologize for the delay
Now would be a great time to teach you something valuable about statistics in marketing
Because this email is late, the open rate will be lower, or only go up to the average open rate in a few days
So remember to always send emails out at the same time, otherwise your readers get confused
Without further ado, let’s get into it
An Interesting Story Personal Experience From This Week
This week I went to visit an artist with decades of practical experience
It was fascinating to me that he understood almost none of the terms the people are teaching in my certificate course on art & design
This just confirmed what I already knew..
There is no substitute for practical experience
Just by looking at my drawings, he could determine the issues in it..
In the end, a skill where you work with your hands, can’t be based on a degree
As I’ve mentioned before, unless its a high caliber skill..
All you need for an education is the internet, books, and practical experience
A Life Update
Right now I’m writing practical examinations for my course on graphic design
I find myself being awfully relaxed in a time where others are filled with anxiety
Once I’m done with this year of study, I plan to go all in on DPU and my newsletter
I’m a little frustrated right now, because I feel like I could be spending precious time on my business, but instead I have to pass to continue studying this certificate
Hopefully once I get this over with, I can dedicate more time to my business
A Valuable Resource I Use Daily
Google Docs.. Bare with me for a second
Want to write a course? Google Docs
Want to setup a proposal? Google Docs
Want to create a questionnaire? Google Docs
I use google docs for almost everything I write online (except for these emails)
If there’s a paid resource somewhere, Google docs can most likely do it for free
Not only that, it allows you to save your files on the cloud, so you can’t lose them
Google docs is probably the most useful resource I’ve ever learned about as a writer
If you’d like to start writing ANYTHING, use your Google account to start here
This Week From Me
Ever wanted to build a coaching or digital education business?
If you missed it, I released a detailed breakdown on how your current writing, is already part of a digital education curriculum
Learn how to price, how to solve problems, and how to solve those problems for free, while still making a sustainable income coaching others
I broke this down in this week’s article here
A Helpful Tweet From A 6 Figure X Creator
A Note From Me:
If you weren’t aware, I’m writing a book
Over the last 9 years I’ve suffered 3 losses that affected me on a psychological level
I’ve been through years of therapy and subscription medicine
This book of mine, is called “On Mortality”
Learn how I overcame these struggles, and get access to multiple data based behavioral psychology case studies, and most importantly..
Enrich yourself in a narrative driven story about the search for the meaning of life
Before I go, I thought I’d ask you a question
Why do you write? Share your reason below (even if you dont have a newsletter)
Looking forward to your replies 😊
